National Museum of Qatar

The National Museum of Qatar will shortly be moving into their new building. To this end, Mary-Jane has been working with the highly-regarded conservation and restoration company, Plowden & Smith, to develop a training schedule for the museum staff. The training was a mix of formal learning and practical sessions, and covered topics such as object handling, conservation packing, preventive conservation, loans procedures and identification of materials.
