Redevelopment of the NMM Galleries

Rick Mather's award-winning roof structure spanning the historic buildings of the NMM Galleries created a huge open space at the heart of the museum. The £23M project also provided the opportunity to refurbish the 16 adjacent galleries and upgrade all the visitor facilities, such as the lifts, the shop and the admissions areas.
