The Story of Time

To celebrate the role that Greenwich has played in the history of timekeeping, this millennial exhibition brought together more than 500 artefacts from over 200 public and private collections to show the myriad ways in which time has been measured and perceived through the ages and across cultures.

The accompanying catalogue, translated into five languages, remains the touchstone for all studies of this fascinating subject.
